TRILOGY: 817 Words Trio: A 188-Word Challenge by JHJ Armstrong Rating: PG Summary: This was inspired (?) by the summary for the story "I Don't Remember How It Happened" by Merri-Todd Webster: "Mulder/Scully/Skinner. Mulder/Krycek. Slash. Mulder discovers that both his partner and his boss have feelings for him and for one another, but a past relationship may interfere with their chances for happiness as a trio." Dedication: To EPur, who triple-dog-dared me with "oooh"s. This one's a triple-feature, folks. Enjoy. Disclaimer: Not in a million years. Or even eight seasons. ------------ Mulder was naked in his bed. There was a knock on the door. A muffled voice asked, "Mulder?" It was Scully. Mulder didn't get up. He was "busy." He heard Scully use her key. She walked into the bedroom. Soon, Mulder and Scully were naked in the bed together. Another knock. Mulder went commando in shorts and no shirt to the door. It was Skinner. Skinner drooled. He carried Mulder into the bedroom. Scully saw them. Scully drooled. Then Skinner and Mulder and Scully were naked in the bed together. Another knock. Nobody went commando anywhere. But Krycek had a lockpick. Krycek walked into the bedroom and snarled, then stomped out to the hallway. Mulder gave chase. Naked. "Krycek!" he pleaded. "Stop!" Krycek never listened. Mulder tried not to whine. "Please?" Krycek flipped him off with his prosthetic hand -- a stunning feat of agility -- and left. Suddenly, Mulder realized he loved Krycek. He made the crumply crying face. Then, Skinner and Scully dragged his naked ass back to the waterbed and the carnal pleasures of boss and partner. All was right with the world. THE END (ER, NOT *QUITE*) ================ Duo: A 188-Word Challenge by EPurSeMouve Rating: PG Summary: Sequel to JHJ Armstrong's "Trio." Go and read it. Followed by "Uno", a joint effort. Read that, too. Keywords: Do I have to put songfic if it's meant as a parody of songfic? Dedication: To Piglet, for having madness in spades, and being willing to share. The song, Collin Raye's "That Was A River" was her choice. Hers. Disclaimer: If I ever run into David Duchovny at a party, I am going to be so embarrassed... ----------- Duo By EPurSeMouve epursemouve@goplay.com http://www.goplay.com/epursemouve/ The past few weeks, Mulder and Scully and Skinner had been dealing with their attraction to each other in a most pleasant way. But Mulder still missed Krycek very much. Yes, he had only one arm. But he knew what to do with it. One night in the afterglow, Skinner went all nanite-y. Mulder ran out "to investigate." Scully was better at playing doctor, though not as good as ... Krycek was in the stairwell, running away. In his panic, Mulder could only think of song lyrics. "I've seen that look before. Here comes that doubt again. You thought that girl we saw was more than just a friend," he yodeled. Krycek stopped moving. Mulder kept singing. "Yes there was a time, I thought she had it all. She meant the world to me back when the world was small. But nothing compares to this deep devotion. That was a river. This is the ocean." "But what about Skinner?" Krycek asked. Mulder tried to remember the next verse. But before he did, Krycek had already walked away. Mulder's true love. Gone once more. He made the crumply crying face again. THE END (BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!) ========================= Uno: A 156-Word Challenge by JHJ Armstrong and EPurSeMouve Rating: PG Summary: And then there was one. Disclaimer: Sometimes we think 1013 has no sense of humor. And if you can't laugh at yourself, what good are you? ;P Notes: The madness continues. This is dedicated to Merri-Todd Webster. Even if she doesn't know it, this is all her fault. End of a very short, very silly series. "Trio" came first, then EPur's "Duo." Read those first. --------------------- Today, Krycek turned 32. Alone. Green eyes, nice ass, one arm. He didn't like being alone. But tough rebels with leather jackets weren't supposed to wallow. He decided he'd do something constructive. Like make a cake. After his shower. He often felt a need to get wet and naked. He soaped the end of his stump and thought of Mulder. He'd never taken a shower with Mulder before. Mulder probably hogged the soap. He thought about the same bar of soap touching him and Mulder. It made him sad again. Why couldn't they just make up and settle down? Quickly, he turned to thoughts of leather jackets and cake, and he wasn't sad anymore. Just hungry. He dripped to the kitchen. Four hours later, Krycek looked at his lumpy cake and cried. Not even leather jackets could help this time. After all, how was a one-armed guy supposed to make a cake? Alone. -- 30 -- ===================== REALLY, THE END. ;P thanks for sharing our madness piglit1975@aol.com and epursemouve@goplay.com http://copygirl.softballjunkies.com/pigsfly.html http://www.goplay.com/epursemouve/
